Mango Lime Hot Pepper Smoothie
Here’s a vegetarian smoothie recipe that’s rich in both vitamins and taste!
Recipe for two:
Juice from 1 lime
1 mango, peeled and pit removed
1/2 jalapeno pepper
1.5 cups water and 1 cup ice
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon hemp protein
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 tablespoon hemp oil
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and enjoy!
You can always prepare your own snack at home and pack your lunchbox with healthy and super tasty vegan snacks. Go for chopped up veggies with yogurt or roasted chickpeas with vinegar or salt. Baked kale chips also make a great snack, as do kettle corn with herbed cashews. If you don’t have time to make your own snacks, then at least opt for organic veggie snack bars; just stay away from Tesco’s lunch and snack aisle.
