Dr. Oz Quinoa with Chopped Prunes for Breakfast

For the start of the day you need a breakfast and here, for a healthy recipe for 1 serving you will need:

  • 1/2 cup quinoa, rinsed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp flax seed oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped prunes
  • 1/4 cup rice milk

To make it, first take a small pot, mix in a cup of water 1/2 cup quinoa, a pinch of nutmeg and 1 tsp of grated ginger. Reduce the heat when it boils, cover the pot with a lid and cook the mixture for 10 minutes. Add the prunes and rice milk and put the cover again, let it cook for 5 minutes. It is ready! Just before serving it, add 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil and enjoy!

Dr. Oz Detox Drink for a Snack

After breakfast you need a healthy snack, so learn how to get it! The ingredients, for 4 servings, are as follows:

  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 bunch kale without stems (about 4 cups chopped)
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 1/4 inch of ginger
  • 1 bunch of mint (about 1/2 cup)

Cut the ingredients and put them into a juicer. Blending all the ingredients together only once is enough! That’s all you have it!

Dr. Oz Alternative Detox Drinks for a Snack

If you didn’t like the previous one, here is another snack option that you may like more! Well, it also makes 4 serving and for making it you will need:

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 3 cups water

All you have to do is mix all the ingredients in a simple cup and blend them. Time to enjoy!

Dr. Oz Fruit Smoothie for Lunch

Time to have lunch and hence it’s time to learn a delicious fruit smoothie recipe that is very easy to make! Here you need:

  • 1/2 cup almond or hemp milk (plain/unsweetened)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 banana
  • 1/2 cup ice

It is extremely easy to make this smoothie, as you just need to put all the ingredients in a blander and blend them until you get a smooth mixture!

Dr. Oz Vegetable Broth Soup for Dinner

For the end of the day you need a dinner and here is a very healthy vegetable broth soup recipe to make! All you will need:

  • 2 red onions, roughly chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, roughly chopped
  • 1 fennel bulb, fronds and stalks included, roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup sliced shitake caps
  • 4 large cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 2 quarts water
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • 8 sprigs parsley, chopped stems and leaves
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped

Put the chopped parsley aside and combine all the rest of the ingredients in a pot filled with 2 quarts of water. Let it boil and then reduce the heat and leave it for an hour. Take whole parsley sprigs away and serve it with some freshly chopped parsley on top! Here you go, enjoy!
