Luxurious Getaways in California: Sacramento, California

It’s nice to treat yourself to a luxurious destination every once in a while. If you’re in the Sacramento area of California, you need not worry about great places to stay for a night or two. Here are some of the places I really like which can make you feel all rejuvenated after your little vacation:

  • Amber House Bed and Breakfast Hotel – Enjoy a full-gourmet breakfast in this ten-room luxurious destination which will make you feel like you’ve been transported a few centuries back with its plush interiors and dramatic draperies. It’s not outdated though, because the rooms have jacuzzis and high-speed internet among others.
  • Pacific Victorian Bed and Breakfast – Located at Halfmoon Bay, you can enjoy the calming aura brought by the ocean. You can even have fun with some watersports activities like kayaking or surfing. It would make you feel far from all the hustle and bustle of the city, and each fully furnished bedroom is meant to give you the most comfortable sleep after a day of exploration.
  • Hyatt Regency Sacramento – If you want all the comforts of the city while feeling secluded in the privacy of your own room, the Hyatt Regency Sacramento is where you would want to be. It has great views of the Capitol Park and has an outdoor pool for you to enjoy. Its rooms are some of the most luxurious in the Sacramento area and you’ll definitely enjoy the designer pillows and fitted comforters to get that well-deserved rest.
  • Vizcaya – This was something I discovered when I was invited to a friend’s wedding. Vizcaya is like a smaller version of the Sterling Hotel (they are owned by the same people, I’ve heard) and although it has only nine sleeping rooms, the serene aura of this place makes it truly worth the visit. It has Victorian interiors and perfectly manicured lawns for you to enjoy. Take a dip in the jacuzzi before tucking in and enjoy the continental breakfast the following morning!

Spending some luxurious time off doesn’t mean you have to go far. I suggest you try these places with your special someone!
