Marks & Spencer Food We Love

There was a point in my life that I simply adored shopping at Marks & Spencer. I liked how they had so many different clothes and accessories for all occasions. After my love for the brand has faded, I moved on to others but I always come back once in a while for casual tees and the like. During one of my visits, I chanced upon their food aisles and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by all the food options they had.

Now some of you might roll your eyes and say the food has been there for ages but I just never really gave them a thought; boy, was I missing a lot! In celebration of my discovery, I brought home several food items and I was hooked!

First of all, their food choices were simply amazing in number and two, all the food items I got really tasted good. I couldn’t believe I got them from Marks & Spencer. If you haven’t tried their snacks but want to, below are some of my recommendations.

White chocolate biscuit bites – At first glance these cookies looked a bit funny what with their little tails of white chocolate but one bite and you will fall in love with them just like that. The cookies have just the right amount of softness and crunchiness and the white chocolate coating was creamy and smooth. The portions were tiny but I think they’re perfect for portion control. They have tons of other cookies that are delicious as well.

Fuller longer jerk style chicken and mango salsa – As part of my plan to eat healthier and drop a few kilos, I decided to try this sandwich and it was good! What I liked about it was that it didn’t scrimp on flavor plus it was in high protein, fiber, and just under 300 calories – all three elements that make for a perfect lunch to those who want to lose weight.

Superfruit breakfast – I don’t know if it is just me but sometimes, in the morning, I get too lazy to prepare breakfast. This nice, delicious little treat has solved my problem and I eat this for breakfast or morning snack.
