Orogold Rose Gold Collection Review: A Luxurious Glow in Every Drop

An established skincare brand that has ventured away from its strong focus on gold in favor of embracing advanced ingredients and cutting-edge concepts, Orogold has won the hearts of many over the years. This is a brand that moves with the times, which is why it’s a brand that I’ve returned to for the past 10 years. 

The Rose Gold Collection, however, was new to me. This skincare line, with each product containing gold as well as at least one rose-derived skincare ingredient, promises a bounty of moisture and antioxidants. Here’s what I thought of the four Orogold Rose Gold products that I tried:

The 24K Rose Gold Hydro Mask

Leave-on masks are my favorite type of face mask, which is one of the reasons why the Orogold Rose Gold Collection appealed to me. The 24K Rose Gold Hydro Mask is a no-rinse mask that really packs a punch in terms of its impressive ingredient list. 

Firstly, there’s no shortage of hydrating ingredients in this mask. Seaweed extract, rose hip seed extract, sodium hyaluronate, and more draw moisture to the skin. These ingredients have antioxidant properties too, which are boosted by the inclusion of lime extract, caffeine, and other antioxidant-rich compounds. You’ll find peptides in this face mask too, with Oligopeptide-68 known for how it significantly brightens the look of the skin. 

While some skincare products don’t live up to the hype of their ingredient list, this one most certainly does. This mask leaves my skin feeling distinctly softer, smoother, and more elastic. It also looks much brighter, with any imperfections being much less noticeable.

The 24K Rose Gold Age Glow Duo

Love a good face serum? So do I, which is why the 24K Rose Gold Age Glow Duo instantly intrigued me. 

This skincare system consists of two products. The first is the 24K Rose Gold Multi-Vital Liquid Powder. It preps the skin for the 24K Rose Gold Enriching Serum. The powder contains several standout ingredients, including rose hip seed extract, sodium hyaluronate, niacinamide, and resveratrol. Meanwhile, the serum is filled with the likes of peptides, vitamins, and a selection of antioxidant-rich extracts. 

While applying the powder and then the serum is a little more finicky than applying a serum on its own, the two work beautifully together. I have tried applying the serum as a standalone on a few occasions, but my skin always looks much brighter and softer when the two are used together. 

The 24K Rose Gold Advanced Cream

With my skin type being dry, it can be difficult to find a face cream that’s rich enough to keep my skin feeling supple without being overly heavy. The 24K Rose Gold Advanced Cream promises to do exactly that. 

This moisturizer contains several ingredients that those with dry skin will be familiar with. From avocado oil to peptides to rose hip seed extract, these are all ingredients that are revered for being highly moisturizing. There are plenty of hydrating humectants in this cream too, including sodium hyaluronate and seaweed extract. At the same time, it’s bursting with antioxidants as well, making it great for rounding off a skincare routine.

In terms of moisturizing power, this cream does an amazing job. I now use it both day and night. It’s light enough to feel comfortable during the day (I can even apply makeup over the top) yet rich enough to keep my skin quenched all night long.

The 24K Rose Gold Wrinkle Smoothing Solution

I have recently noticed fine lines appearing on my face, predominantly around my eyes and mouth. The fact that I have dry skin only makes those lines look more noticeable. The 24K Rose Gold Wrinkle Smoothing Solution from Orogold is designed to make fine lines and wrinkles look less visible in a matter of seconds. 

It does this through the use of a few fast-acting ingredients. Hyaluronic acid plumps up the look of the skin while acetyl hexapeptide-8 and DMAE smooth away the appearance of creases. 

Does it actually work? Most definitely. I was skeptical at first. However, after seeing my fine lines seemingly disappear a minute or so after applying this solution, I was a believer! It gives me skin that looks smoother, firmer, and more youthful, with the effects lasting until I cleanse my face.
