Spa-level results from topical products that you can use yourself at home? It’s a bold claim, but one that VouPre proudly makes for the brand’s Thermal Collection – an intriguing set of high-end products that promises to transform your skincare routine, turning it into a decadent experience.
How could I say no to that? After doing my due to diligence and ensuring that VouPre was a credible brand (surprisingly, this was the first time that the brand had appeared on my radar), I ordered up a Thermal Collection set for myself.
Less than a week later, an exquisitely packaged box arrived at my door. It definitely made a good first impression but as we all know, when it comes to skincare, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. So, how did VouPre’s Thermal Collection perform? Considering that my skin has recently been going through bouts of redness and breakouts, it had a lot to tackle. Here’s how it fared:
The VouPre Thermal Collection at a Glance
The VouPre Thermal Collection consists of three topical skincare products – a face mask, a serum, and a face cream – along with a derma roller. Together, these products create a skincare system that feels completely indulgent. While I added the serum and cream to my daily skincare routine, using all four together is when the magic really happens.
The Detoxifying Thermal Mask
I’ve used a lot of luxury skincare products over the years, but none have felt quite as sumptuous as the Detoxifying Thermal Mask. This mask, which can also be purchased as a standalone product, stands out for a few reasons, the first being how it gently heats up when it’s applied to the skin. The warmth is very noticeable but always comfortable. It definitely creates that relaxing, spa-like vibe, while also having the functional purpose of leaving the pores feeling relaxed so that the mask is able to properly penetrate.
While clay masks can sometimes leave my skin feeling irritated, this one is packed with ingredients that hydrate and soothe the complexion. Aloe vera, sweet almond oil, and Arnica Montana provide a calming sensation. Meanwhile, coffee seed extract, lemon fruit extract, and grape stem cells leave the skin feeling rejuvenated. At the same time, the clay absorbs excess sebum. My skin always looks flawlessly matte once I rinse this mask off.
The Perfecting Facial Serum
The Perfecting Facial Serum is unique in that it can be used not only as a hydrating antioxidant serum but also applied over the top of the thermal mask. It intensifies the heat – but again, it never feels too much – while also providing additional nutrients, including a blend of peptides and a long list of antioxidants.
When used on its own, it feels extremely hydrating. My skin always looks fuller and more voluminous after I’ve applied it, which is exactly why it became one of my daily go-tos!
The Corrective Facial Cream
With shine and grease being a regular occurrence for my skin, moisturizers tend to be hit or miss – usually, a miss. It’s not easy to find a cream that doesn’t make my skin worse. So, I didn’t have high hopes for the Corrective Facial Cream. However, the fact that it contains salicylic acid drew me in. With this ingredient, the cream has the potential to deeply moisturize without clogging pores.
This is exactly how it worked for me, from my very first application. It’s intensely hydrating, but doesn’t weigh my skin down in the slightest. I love that it contains such a diverse blend of ingredients. Rose hip extract, grape seed extract, grape stem cells, and vitamin A are just a few of the superstars that VouPre has chosen. It’s a stellar lineup that can be used both day and night.
The Derma Roller
While I was hesitant about using a derma roller for the first time, this one, with its 0.25mm needles, seemed perfect for a beginner. I was most concerned about discomfort, but there was no pain whatsoever. Instead, it feels more like a tingle – it’s very easy to get used to.
Did it make a difference to my complexion? While I wouldn’t say that this derma roller on its own would produce dramatic results, it makes a noticeable difference when it comes to the absorption of my other skincare products. I notice that they seem to sink into my skin more efficiently when combined with derma rolling. That alone makes this tool well worth using.
Is the VouPre Thermal Collection Worth Trying?
While I’ve regretted many skincare purchases in the past, VouPre’s Thermal Collection was definitely not one of them! These products have worked wonders on my complexion. Since adding them to my routine two months ago, my skin now looks significantly smoother and brighter. My pores aren’t so noticeable anymore, and my skin also feels much more hydrated. These products do exactly what they promise, which can’t be said of the majority of the skincare products out there!
