Downsizing The Toiletry Bag – Cleansing, Exfoliating And Moisturizing Sticks

Personal care products on wooden table

As I have mentioned before, I am constantly looking for ways to downsize my toiletries especially when traveling. I have stumbled across three fantastic-looking items that could go a long way to helping with that endeavor! And they do not have to go in the dreaded 3-1-1 bag!

  • Julep Love Your Bare Face Cleansing Balm Stick – That’s right, a cleansing balm on a stick! To use it, you simply apply the cleanser to wet hands and then massage the cleanser over your skin. They recommend using a Konjac sponge for great results. Personally, I cannot wait to try this! I currently travel with the disposable Olay cloths but I do not like the idea that I am creating more trash for the landfills.
  • Tarte Cosmetics Friction Stick Exfoliating Cleanser – This little gem looks fantastic for travel. It is a cleanser, an exfoliator, and a face mask in one solid stick. For this one, you apparently massage the product directly onto the skin and then massage it in and rinse. Yu can also leave it on for ten minutes as a treatment mask.
  • Nourish Organic Organic Argan Oil Balm – After you’ve cleansed and exfoliated, it is time to moisturize! This beautiful-looking stick hydrates and nourishes any part of your face, including the eye area and lips. If you would prefer something without the sweet orange essential oil, I highly recommend The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Moisturising Stick.

Overall, depending on how many products you would normally carry with you, this can greatly reduce the weight and fullness of your toiletry bag. You can remove makeup, cleanse your skin, exfoliate and mask your skin, and then moisturize your face, eye area, lips, and even cuticles. That sounds pretty efficient to me!
