The Ultimate Workout Playlist

Sometimes you need a little extra motivation to get yourself in the zone for the best workouts. As anyone who’s ever been to a spin class knows, sometimes music can be the best motivator. Here are the best songs to add to your playlist to ensure you’re reaching your maximum workout potential!

“Indestructable” by Robyn
If you’re ever at a point in your workout where you just don’t think you can pull through, put on this track and let Robyn remind you that nothing can stop you!

“Work Bitch” by Britney Spears
Listening to this song is pretty much the same as having a stern personal trainer yelling in your ear. If tough love is what gets you motivated, this is definitely your jam.

“So What’cha Want” by Beastie Boys
Do you want a toned tummy, or do you want perpetual muffin top? Though I’m sure the song was written with something completely different in mind, it’s like the Beastie Boys are constantly reminding you of the reason you’re working out.

“Deceptacon” Le Tigre
This upbeat dance track will make you want to jump up and down, making it the perfect soundtrack to a high-intensity cardio session or for squeezing in a bunch of jumping jacks during a warm up session.

Cotton Eyed Joe – Rednex
Every single spin class I’ve attended has had this on the playlist. Though it might seem like a strange choice, it’s the perfect song to give you a little perk in the middle of a tough workout where you might otherwise want to quit.

Maximum Potential – Power Glove
If you’re running out of workouts to do, it’s got some suggestions right in the song! The smooth chatter of the trainer throughout the track balances perfectly with the electro beat to keep you focused on your workout.

Eye of the Tiger – Survivor
If there could be an audio definition for the word ‘motivation,’ it would be this song. Just envisioning the iconic scene from Rocky that made this song famous will be enough to keep you going.
